's it! It is!
No time to dawdle, you must go retrieve our bags!
You feel immediately welcomed ....
And the refinement Japanese dice airport noticeable ... (flowers are real, and there were at each escalator .... tapinatore?? I do not know what they are called these carpets which we are advancing slowly)
Skip bureaucracy and the baggage claim, I flirt a bit at the airport in search of three things that I found without too much difficulty (with plans for the airport at hand .. . and all this is pretty well organized as directly accessible when it retrieves luggage):
1 ° ICT (pr Tourist Information Center , choose Terminal 2 ... note the timetable 8h-20h) where I will draw some plans, guides and information about Tokyo.
2 ° stop Kensei: because to get to Ueno our neighborhood, the best way was to take the Limited Express Kensei as cheap and more we drove directly to the heart of Ueno. (plan here dark blue line)
3 The ATM where to purchase two tickets usefull Of The Underground: Open Ticket of 1000yen to which we can take the metro an unlimited period of two days. According to my sources these tickets were for sale only gaijin (foreigners), and that kuko Narita (Narita Airport )..... should not miss them!
..... first 'contact' with a train station ticket office (Kensei):
Scary! .. (Am completely lost ..... Gulp!) good finally no panic, we managed to take the right train ..... do not panic either on schedule as there is a train every 10 minutes .... which is a constant throughout the territory ..... Just near
arrived at Ueno, I galley because I can not find my train ticket (I had the unfortunate tendency to lose them all during the first 48 hours ... but I've never done well there reprehend was a guard at cahque porch! ... then I gave this difficult task (conservation of tickets) to my wife ).... good finally I decided to play it straight forward and force the porch .... if ever I'm back in the order I let myself quietly rooting for looking for my ticket .... but ultimately not lost, the controller does not move .... it is nothing and no one here .... I tell myself quiet.
I had plans for the neighborhood, and I knew what direction my bearings, so let's go Katsutaro Ryokan ..... I hesitate a bit at times ... it seems a bit long anyway, worse bags to hang it swells too ... especially since mine is playing the rodeo with small wheels too close together.
At 2 / 3 of the road, a Japanese approaches us and asks us where we go. Arghh! First real contact, all in nihongo! Oooeennddannn I tell myself inside!
I understand he was working at Ryokan but in fact it should rather be a neighbor !.... anyway I managed to make myself understood and confirms we're on the right track and we propose to follow ... or isho ikimasho he told me ... he is smiling and friendly ... I am a little west and I am thinking that I'll have to cling with my Japanese in 40 lessons, but I'm still happy, and sometimes even understand him to explain that Japan is also the nature in advance and that the cherry trees already beginning to bloom or bud.
Here we are, it takes leave and we wish a good stay in Japan. I tells me the master of the house as I had learned (do not enter the ryokan before being prompted ...). So I ring and he wants to wait to welcome me.
A man 50aines years arrives, he asks me my name is obviously honored that one is there (I recall that about accommodation in Katsutaro, he had been asked for any advance, and only by tacit agreement by exchange of mail that this accommodation had been reserved). It makes me complete a living and leads us to our dormitory upstairs after giving us a personalized map of the area, we have shown that computers were freely available, but also giving me the name of the representation , timetables and fares of the Kabuki play is currently playing in Tokyo because I had shared via e-mail from my interest in the thing.
We put on a pair of slippers made available. It proposes to discharge my wife and therefore take the bag of the hands and leads us upstairs .....
Finally some rest ... although I was not tired having slept well on the plane finally arrived ... but mostly, finally in Japan! All this thought for many years ...... happen.
We go to bed early (around 19:30) so as not to suffer too much from jet lag ...
We woke up after a good night's sleep with a sun ... we waited impatiently but do not ever point ..... it was not likely to happen, it was 0:30!
As we were awakened we got off the computer. Slight confrontation with the Japanese keyboard, and we have left messages reassuring the family and friends.
Then we went back to bed .... for a good night on a futon. : D A
sometimes for more ...
