Trophies Med-It 2010: "ICT - SME 2010
Trophies Med-IT 2010 are organized in parallel with the 7th edition of the MED-IT 2010 will be held on 10, 11 and 12 May 2010 at the Palace of Culture, Kouba ALGER.
The 2010 Awards Med-IT will be held under the patronage of the Minister of Post, Information Technology and Communication and the Minister for Small Business and Crafts.

Objectives The objective of the Med-IT Awards 2010 is to encourage investment by SMEs in ICT, promote their use, and develop the most innovative companies.
Conditions General Participation
Entering the contest is free.

SMEs Algerian law as defined by the Framework Act on SMEs

independent company in business for at least 2 years
can not compete:
companies do not meet the above criteria
companies did not provide supporting documents to verify their eligibility
The company XCOM, organizations, societies Sponsors event, corporate board member sought in connection with this contest, as well as their family members (spouses, parents, children and siblings in the first degree).
* According to law Orientation on SMEs, the SME is defined, regardless of its legal status as an enterprise producing goods or services employing 1 250 persons, whose turnover does not exceed 2 billion dinars or whose annual balance sheet total does not exceed 500 million dinars and respects the independence criteria.
** Company whose capital is owned 25% or more by one or more enterprises falling outside the definition of SMEs.
IT Projects eligible
all qualified IT project conducted by SMEs aiming to expand its business, increase its competitiveness, reduce its costs, production times and improve its organization . The project, which may involve the use of several tools or technologies should be conducted in the last 3 years and the benefits are easily measured. A questionnaire used to evaluate the project should be completed by each candidate SMEs. Each SME candidate may file only one application.

Internet: establishing a website or online service
Internet Extrenat: Update up a platform for information sharing, content management, platform collaborative working
Dematerialisation : Establishment of a process of electronic invoicing, EDI, document scanning, archiving digital
Client Management: implementation of a CRM solution, Grc
Housekeeping: implementation of ERP, ERP
Mobility: Using PDA, remote access to the SI,
Telecom: interconnect solution for remote sites, Voip, IP telephony
Telecom: interconnect solution for remote sites, Voip, IP telephony
Security: implementation of security solutions

The jury
10 files will be pre-selected by a panel of five experts, the final selection of the 3 winners will be effected on the basis of a visit to the company and an individual interview with the designated official within the company. The content of the discussions will be confidential. The jury's decisions are final.
Evaluation criteria will include:
number and types of technologies used
interest and innovation in project the use of different tools related to business activity and constraints related to its organization
benefits for the enterprise (improving productivity, competitiveness, cost savings, time savings, simplification of procedures)
quality of integration of the project within the company (accompanying measures implemented, training)
Awards
1st prize, 2nd prize and 3rd prize.
Three trophies and prizes will be offered by institutions and companies event partners.
Each winner will prepare a power point presentation of his project for the day of the ceremony's official awards ceremony to be held at the Palace of Culture Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 17:00 in the presence of the Minister of Post and ICT, Minister of Small Business and Crafts, institutions, sponsors, officials, board members, media partners, the winners, and a panel of Algerian decision-makers.
Three trophies and prizes will be offered by institutions and companies event partners.
